  • Talk to faculty about best programs for  interests, their path thru grad school, and their providing you a letter of rec
  • What main conferences for your interests might you consider attending
  • Talk to grad students in your dept about their paths and “grad stu life”
March

  • Research schools/programs
  • Discuss with family/friends/adviser about different programs and why/what might be best fit for you
April

  • Request letters of rec and share with faculty & advisers
